The curtain has closed on an unforgettable Middle School production of Matilda Jr, bringing together talented young performers, musicians, creatives and crew for a celebration of storytelling, friendship and imagination.
Based on the beloved story by Roald Dahl, Matilda Jr transports audiences into a world of extraordinary children, unforgettable characters and a little girl with a remarkable imagination. From the classroom of the formidable Miss Trunchbull to the warmth of Miss Honey’s classroom, our students brought this much-loved story to life with energy, humour and heart.
For our students, being part of a musical is about much more than performing on stage. It is an opportunity to discover new talents, build confidence, work as part of a team and experience the joy of creating something together.

Our students embraced every aspect of the production, supporting one another both on and off stage and showing the commitment, creativity and courage that make a school musical so special.
More than a musical
Productions like Matilda Jr give students the opportunity to develop skills that extend well beyond the stage.
Through rehearsals and performance, students learn to collaborate, communicate, problem-solve and persevere. They learn what it means to contribute to a team, to step outside their comfort zone and to celebrate the success of others.
Most importantly, they discover the confidence that comes from finding their voice and sharing their creativity with an audience.
