Hire our facilities

o The property is to be left in the manner it was found following hiring
o The hirer takes responsibility for removing their own rubbish
o The hirer acknowledges that there will be no storage facilities available
o 50% Hire deposit payable in advance
o The Hirer is responsible for costs of repair to any damages that might be incurred
o The hirer is to comply with Workplace Health and Safety Legislation at all times.
o The Hirer is responsible for any insurance risks relative to the hiring
o All Hirers must produce evidence of Public Liability Insurance noting Collegiate’s interests
o The hirer will be required to undergo and sign off on an induction process, including the completion of a Risk Management Form which will incorporate OH&S matters prior to using the facility
o The Hirer acknowledges that School representatives have the right of entry at all times
o The hirer acknowledges that they will engage a Collegiate duty technician for the duration of hire in the Performing Arts Centre, and at times in Linmor Hall
o Additional requests involved with the hiring other than on an “as is, where is basis” may be subject to an additional charge
o No illegal activities or improper behaviour are permitted on the site or its surrounds
o Any security callouts involving staff or outside contractors will be at the hirer’s expense ($75.00 per callout).
o Any other costs borne by the School as a result of the hiring to be payable by the hirer (eg set up costs, additional cleaning).
o It is the responsibility of the hirer to obtain the necessary Licence to serve liquor and provide a copy of the Licence to the School prior to the event (if applicable).
o The hirer will also provide evidence of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificates.
o If requested, the hirer will provide the School with Working With Vulnerable People (Child Related Activity) registration details
o Hiring to be approved by the Principal or delegate.
o If the hirer wishes to cancel a booking, notice must be given to Collegiate in writing
o If cancellation is 30 days or more before the event date, a $100 cancellation fee will apply and the remainder of the deposit will be refunded
o If cancellation is made within 30 days before the event date, there will be no refund of deposit
o If Collegiate, at its discretion, cancels a booking, notice will be given to the hirer in writing
o If cancellation is due to a breach, there will be no refund of deposit made
o If cancellation is due to other reasons, such as the School’s need for the venue, a full refund will be made
