Frequently asked questions
Can I enrol my child in a Learn to Swim program?
Yes - speak with our friendly team for full details. All children must be assessed by one of our instructors, prior to enrolment.
Please note, classes with fewer than 3 children enrolled for the term, may be subject to change.
Can I get a Refund?
No refunds, credits or alternative classes will be available for missed classes.
Please report all medical changes/conditions to the staff at the Pool Office prior to entering the water, to ensure the safety of all user groups. We would consider, due to medical considerations, a transfer of lessons, on receipt of a Doctor’s Medical Certificate.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
If you are going to miss a lesson please notify pool via email. No alternative or 'make up' classes are offered.
What are Learn to Swim cards and why do I need one?
Each swimmer is issued with a Learn to Swim card on the commencement of the first lesson. This card is to be given to the instructor at the beginning of each lesson so attendance can be taken and to ensure all medical and contact details are known and accessible. Cards are only valid for one term.
What do I do if I have forgotten my card?
Before the lesson commences, swimmers must get a temporary card from the pool office. We regret that NO CARD = NO SWIM.
Please note, if you have a swimming lesson booked and wish to swim before or after this session, the cost is $7.00 for a casual swim.
Do I need a swimming cap and goggles?
All swimmers must wear a swimming cap in the pool. Goggles are not a requirement, but are a good learning aid for swimming. Caps and goggles are available for purchase at the Pool office.
