Collegiate venues are available for hire by organisations or by individuals for private functions. Catering can be arranged through the School’s Catering Manager and coordinated by the Business Services Department.
Anyone wishing to hire School venues is asked to sign an acceptance of the Hiring Terms and Conditions, as well as a formal contract.
All hiring contracts must be approved by the Principal or Chief Operating Officer.
The McNeill Performing Arts Centre (PAC)
The PAC opened in 1998 and includes a 264 seat raked auditorium theatre with a flat floor stage at ground level. The stage measures 9m x 9m. The PAC consists of 2 dressing rooms, a greenroom, 4 individual instrumental practice rooms, a dance studio, a drama studio, an upper and lower foyer and a bar run by the Collegiate Old Girls Association. The theatre is suitable for all types of productions such as dance, drama and musical theatre.

Linmor Hall:
Linmor Hall opened in 1959 as the School assembly hall and remains so today. Linmor Hall boasts a capacity of 500 patrons in a theatre style configuration. The raised stage measures 5.7m deep x 9.5m (8.35m between the proscenium) wide. The upper mezzanine can seat 190 patrons in a fixed tiered seating arrangement, while the lower floor area can accommodate 320 patrons in theatre style on the flat floor. This versatile space can be used for a range of different events such as socials, dinners, meetings, and team building activities just to name a few.

Gym and Sporting Facilities
The Gym is a full-sized basketball court with basketball, netball, badminton and volleyball line-markings. It has a 1-metre side run-off with spectator seating. Change rooms and toilets are available.
The soccer fields, tennis and netball courts at Ham Common are available on a half-day hiring basis

Cafe 1892
A lovely light bright area suitable for a wide range of functions. It has the advantage of a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to it. The kitchen is not available for preparation of food, but catering can be arranged through the School’s Catering Manager.

Cananore
This lovely historic building houses two separate reception areas which are available for hire. One is a small room suitable for meetings of approximately 8 people, the other is a larger room and more flexible in its use.

Classrooms
Classrooms are available for hire on any of the School’s three campuses, depending on the needs of the hirer. We can also offer conjoined classrooms which can be divided in two, or joined as one larger room.
Hiring terms and conditions:
- The property is to be left in the manner it was found before the event was held.
- The user is responsible for the costs of repair to any damages that might be incurred.
- The user is responsible for any insurance risks relative to the event.
- The user must produce evidence of Public Liability Insurance noting Collegiate’s interests. Or sign a Liability Waiver in the case of individuals.
- The user acknowledges that the School representatives have the right of entry at all times.
- Additional requests involved with the use other than on an as-is-where-is basis must be discussed prior to the date.
- No illegal activities or improper behaviour are permitted on the site or its surrounds.
- Any security call-outs involving staff or outside contractors are at the user’s expense of $75 per call-out.
- Any other costs borne by the School as a result of the use, to be payable by the user.
- The user is to comply with Workplace Health and Safety Legislation at all times.
