As part of National Science Week earlier in the year, Prep students were discussing healthy foods and how the food we eat helps us to live our lives. Students planned a healthy ‘picnic plate’ and entered their work into the Australian Academy of Science’s scienceXart: food for thought competition. Two of our students, Fleur Windsor and Emily Bui were awarded ‘highly commended’ for their entries, and Summer Medwin won the national 1st prize in her category! An amazing accomplishment. Their efforts were also awarded a Terragarden hydroponic kit for the class to share, from the academy. Well done, Prep students!
