Working collaboratively to shape international education
St Michael's Collegiate is proud to be a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS). This global membership community is committed to upholding the highest possible standards in international education.
The CIS provides professional services to schools and higher education institutions that actively demonstrate a desire to equip students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue their lives as global citizens. Member schools all share a firm commitment to high quality international education.
The CIS accreditation process is a rigorous one and is based on peer review from an international team of highly regarded educators. St Michael’s Collegiate School is proud of its commitment to high quality international education. We are respected globally by educational leaders and teachers, universities, embassies, other government departments, and global companies and organisations.
Our CIS accreditation also forms part of our belief of practising ‘international-mindedness’ through understanding and embracing diversity in all its forms, and by respecting and celebrating this diversity in order to foster a peaceful, just and sustainable world.
Our commitment to international-mindedness is evident in our curriculum and woven through a range of co-curricular endeavours such as our exchange program and service learning projects.
